On the lookout for the perfect wedding venue in Norfolk, Lois and Rusty fell in love with Oxnead Hall.
“The venue is light and airy and the grounds are stunning. Every element was beautiful and stylish – a mix of classical and modern design.” – Lois.
Setting an October wedding date, the happy couple chose a monochrome scheme with hints of deep green foliage. Fabrics adorned the venue alongside an abundance of glorious foliage and props incorporating brass and perspex.
“We also set up a living room in the evening with a TV playing clips of footage we had filmed over the years. Most of the guest featured in the clips.” – Lois
Choosing a fabulous sparkly dress, Lois accessorised with bespoke Converse trainers, a beautiful tiara and a diamond and sapphire necklace.
Meanwhile, Rusty looked the part in a tuxedo from Moss Bros while Lois’s five bridesmaids each chose their own black dress.
“I also bought them some sparkly earrings and hair combs. They looked incredible.” – Lois
Following the ceremony in the Fountain Room, a drinks reception was held in the Maze Garden. Moving in to dine, the newlyweds chose a simple, elegant menu and some classic cocktails.
“All the food was incredible, really high quality and absolutely delicious.” – Lois
As day turned to evening, a 5-piece band delighted the guests and pulled pork and cheesy chip butties proved a popular evening food choice. The dancefloor filled as a wonderful finale to this spectacular day.
